The Objective
Playing with the cinematic heritage of Hong Kong and its role in inspiring the likes of Tarantino and The Shaw Brothers, Enter the Dragon came as a nod to an era. Evoking scenography from 80’s Kung-Fu films, Japanese partition screens enclosed the space and hundreds of red lanterns hung from the ceiling – the perfect setting for a dance between Chiang Pei Pei and Uma Thurman. The event was dedicated to the nightlife institution’s veteran VIP with the ambition of reflecting 20 years of grandeur and prestige. Unexpected entertainment ignited the night with B-Boy dancers performing Hip Hop routines and a Drag Queen singing 80’s classics into a new age. A raucous Kung-Fu affair.
